At Pelican Cove Counseling Centers, our primary goal is providing individual, couple, and group therapy to those who desperately need it but do not have access due to lack of insurance or financial resources. When clients come to us, we set a fee based on their ability to pay. These payments allow us to run the bare bones operation of Pelican Cove but are often below the minimum hourly rate we need to survive.
This year, we are establishing two types of scholarship funds to support the most financially vulnerable clients.
PELICAN COVE SCHOLARSHIP FUND (PCSF) will allow us to fill in the difference between what clients can pay and the hourly rate needed to keep our doors open. The base hourly rate is $60 however, this is often more than clients can afford. Donation to PCSF will help ensure we can provide quality mental health treatment to all that are in need.
Any amount can be donated to support the PCSF
FIRE RELIEF FUND (FRF) will cover the cost of therapy for those affected by recent the Eaton fire & Palisades fire.
ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND (ASF) will allow those compelled to give to Pelican Cove the opportunity to donate to a specific group or individual and name their scholarship fund.
Minimum donation of $3000 annually
Funds will remain open in perpetuity, will come under the umbrella of our general fund, and can be funded on a monthly or yearly basis to keep them solvent.
